In case of dissatisfaction from our services, clients have the liberty to cancel their projects and request a refund. Our policy for cancellation and refund is as follows. If you have any questions, please contact us so that we may assist you further.
1Cancellation Policy
1.1 Domain Name Registration Services
Once you purchase a Domain Name, you are its owner and it cannot be cancelled until the duration of the domain term has expired. Domain names are controlled worldwide by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and Saminus Private Limited does not have any control over their cancellation.
Note: Domain names are non-cancellable and non-refundable products. Please verify your domain choice carefully before purchasing.
1.2 Renewal Cancellations (Hosting, SEO & Other Ongoing Services)
Cancellation of service renewals for ongoing website promotion, website hosting, or domain registration must be made at least 10 business days prior to the end of the current service period.
- Requests received within 10 business days of renewal will be treated as cancellation for the next service period, not the current one.
- No pro-rata refunds are issued for early termination of an ongoing service period once it has commenced.
1.3 Promotional, Special Occasion & Discounted Services
No cancellations are entertained for services purchased under a promotional offer, special occasion pricing, or discount period. These are limited-time offers and cancellations are not possible under any conditions.
1.4 Company’s Right to Cancel
Saminus Private Limited reserves the right to cancel your account or service at any time, without prior notice and without obligation to provide a refund, in cases including but not limited to: violation of our Terms of Service, non-payment, fraud, or misuse of services.
1.5 Website Design & Development Projects
Payments made for Website Design & Development cannot be refunded. A minimum 50% advance deposit must be made into the Saminus Private Limited account before any project commences. This deposit is non-refundable upon cancellation once work has begun.
2Refund Policy
Saminus Private Limited will make every effort to offer quality services that match client expectations. In cases where a client is genuinely not satisfied, we may provide a refund subject to the conditions below.
2.1 General Refund Conditions

2.2 Non-Refundable Services (Summary)
✗ The following are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances:
• Domain name registrations, transfers, and renewals
• Dedicated server charges
• Administrative and account setup fees
• Custom software installation fees
• Services availed under promotional, special occasion, or discounted pricing
• Any project/website/software development once commenced by our team
• Refund requests submitted after 7 days of quotation acceptance/payment
• GST and applicable taxes (deposited directly to government at month-end)
• Second or subsequent accounts (only first-time accounts are eligible)
2.3 Eligible Refund Scenarios
✓ Refunds may be considered in the following situations:
• First-time accounts within the applicable money-back window, where no service has commenced
• Shared/reseller hosting requests within the initial 30-day period
• Prorated unused time on shared/reseller hosting after 30 days (upon written request)
• Demonstrable failure to deliver the agreed scope of service, subject to internal review
2.4 Refund Processing
- All approved refunds will be processed within a maximum of 10 working days.
- Refunds will be issued via Account Credits or direct bank deposit, as agreed.
- If payment was made by credit/debit card, the refund will be returned to the original card used at the time of purchase.
- If payment was made via a Payment Gateway (Razorpay, PayPal, etc.), the refund will be returned to the same bank account linked to that transaction.
GST Note: Taxes collected as GST cannot be refunded by Saminus Private Limited, as they are deposited directly with the government at the end of each month. However, you may be eligible to reclaim GST directly from the appropriate government authority depending on your business registration status.
3How to Request a Cancellation or Refund
- Send a written request to info@saminus.com or admin@saminus.com with the subject line: Cancellation / Refund Request — [Your Project Name]
- Include your registered name, contact number, invoice number/date, and reason for request.
- Our team will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and respond with a decision within 7 working days.
- If approved, the refund will be processed within 10 working days from the date of approval.
Important: Verbal or WhatsApp-based requests will not be accepted. All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to create a proper audit trail.
