Role overview
Saminus seeks a seasoned .NET Web Developer to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable web applications using C#, ASP.NET (Core/MVC), Web API, and SQL Server. The role involves end-to-end ownership across design, coding, testing, deployment, and support within an agile environment.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core/MVC, and RESTful Web APIs with clean, scalable code.
Build robust data access layers with Entity Framework/EF Core and optimize SQL queries, indexes, and stored procedures on SQL Server.
Participate in solution design, code reviews, unit/integration testing, debugging, and performance tuning to meet non-functional requirements.
Integrate third-party services and internal systems; create and maintain technical documentation across the SDLC.
Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and UX teams; contribute to CI/CD workflows and agile ceremonies.
Required qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in .NET web development with production delivery of enterprise applications.
Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core/MVC, Web API, and object-oriented design principles and patterns.
Hands-on experience with Entity Framework/EF Core and Microsoft SQL Server (schema design, query optimization, transactions).
Solid grasp of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript fundamentals; familiarity with a modern front-end framework is a plus.
Experience with Git-based workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines; exposure to Azure services is advantageous.
Understanding of secure coding, authentication/authorization (e.g., OAuth/JWT), and performance profiling.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Nice to have
Azure PaaS (App Service, Functions, Key Vault), containers, or Kubernetes exposure.
Messaging, caching, and observability (e.g., RabbitMQ, Redis, ELK/App Insights).
Test automation with xUnit/NUnit and API testing tools.
Location and work mode
Role based in Haryana, India, with on-site presence aligned to team needs; flexibility may be considered depending on project requirements.
